Burna Boy will headline the 2026 NFL Paris halftime show at Stade de France on October 25. The Pittsburgh Steelers will face the New Orleans Saints in NFL’s first ever regular-season game in France.

The Nigerian Afrobeats icon arrives in Paris with an established global profile. Burna Boy has earned 13 Grammy nominations and won Best Global Music Album in 2021. He also became the first African artist to perform on the main Grammy Awards telecast.

For the Halftime show, Burna Boy will be returning to the same stadium where he previously made history in April 2025 as the first African artist to headline a solo stadium show there. That history gives his upcoming performance a personal connection. “Paris gave me one of the biggest nights of my career,” Burna Boy said. He added that returning to Stade de France carries special meaning. The singer also described the NFL debut as an opportunity to represent African music on a new stage.

The Paris show also sits within the NFL’s biggest international program to date. The league has scheduled seven halftime shows across seven countries and four continents in 2026. Paris joins Melbourne and Rio de Janeiro as new regular-season NFL markets this season. The league has also staged regular-season games in several European and North American cities.

African music will feature elsewhere in that international program. On October 11, Ayra Starr will headline the London halftime show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Philadelphia Eagles will face the Jacksonville Jaguars during that game.

Together, the Paris and London performances place two major African artists within the NFL’s global expansion. For Burna Boy, however, Paris offers a return to a stadium tied to a major career milestone. His NFL appearance adds another chapter to that connection, placing African music at the center of a new sporting moment in France.
