From Accra to the world, Ghanaian artist and storyteller AraTheJay continues to shape the continent’s soundscape with bold creative direction and spiritual depth. With his forthcoming LP The Odyssey, dropping October 24, Ara is proving that African artistry can be both deeply rooted and globally resonant.

His new single “Put Am On God”, released under Mass Appeal Records, captures the tension between doubt and destiny — a raw, reflective anthem that channels unshakeable faith amid the noise of modern ambition. It’s a declaration of victory and inner strength, anchored in Ara’s signature mix of African rap, Highlife, and global sonics.
“This project is my story and my offering,” says Ara. “It’s for Ghana, but it’s also for the world — a reminder of who we are, what we’ve overcome, and where we’re going.”
The Odyssey builds on the success of his acclaimed debut EP, Finding Nimo: The Capsule, which introduced fans to Ara’s alter ego “Nimo Constantine” and solidified his place among Ghana’s most forward-thinking voices. The upcoming 17-track LP expands that journey, weaving themes of belief, identity, and resilience into an expansive body of work that fuses high-tempo Afrobeats, African rap, and cinematic storytelling.
With collaborations featuring Black Sherif and Bella Shmurda, AraTheJay is crafting, not just an album, but a movement — one that transcends borders while staying rooted in Ghanaian rhythm and truth.
